CORE Academy

K-6 CORE Academy program provides classroom-based instruction 3.5 days per week with a highly- qualified certificated teacher and 1.5 days of independent study school work, perfect for busy families who still want to have some time to tailor their student’s education or allow them freedom to pursue special interests, travel or just be together to learn. Students are expected to be in class on all scheduled class days. 

The curriculum used is structured to follow the Core Knowledge Sequence and the California State Standards. Students in this program are taught using a rich, coherent, cumulative content-specific core curriculum.  Families are provided all necessary materials and instructions to fulfill their requirements for independent study, thus keeping parents directly involved in their child’s educational process.
